This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are active and engaging learners. They learn with their whole body and often feel uncomfortable working in their desks. These desks are portable and can move with them to the carpet, to the quiet corner, or even for small group instruction. They can sit on the carpet to be closer to the board or they can sit in small group in the quiet corner to help them stay on task.
My students are bright and energetic, and alternative seats is an essential part of their learning experience.
Additionally, headphones will ensure students are focused and able to listen while they do independent learning games on their iPads.
