Building foundational reading skills in PreK is essential for reading success. The materials in this project will be used to build these important skills in my PreK learners. The tactile letters will be used on our light table for letter recognition and spelling-our names and words. The acorns will be used in our sensory table to identify and match letters and sounds. The letter robots will be used in our fine motor area as an engaging, fun way to play with letters. The train will enhance our fine motor skills. All of these toys and manipulatives will be used in our play based learning classroom to build essential reading skills in a fun way.
