My students are extremely inquisitive and all hands-on. They enjoy learning about different topics, but mostly science topics. They love experimenting and finding solutions to problems. We do ask for donations, but with the economics and different social classes, we don't get much. Our students do work hard and deserve these supplies and much more, to help them along. They enjoy art as much as science and love creating on paper. We encourage them to use a variety of materials.
My Project
We put bins in our project to hold our manipulative toys. We are working with very little and don’t have the resources to put out toys for students to explore with because we have no storage for them. We want the students to feel free to be creative with the paper and make cozy bins for their social-emotional stuffed toys to have in the classroom. They need as much social-emotional support due to this virus. They truly are affected by this and it is extremely hard for them to communicate with words. They can use the construction paper to cut, color, draw and create projects with. The bins will help them keep the toys stored and they can play with them
