My Students

My 5th-grade class this year is made up of 20 fun-loving and energetic learners. They began this year successfully as e-learners and are ready to return to the classroom. My students thrive when given the opportunity to share their work and thoughts with each other. They love discussing their ideas and showing what they have learned. This group of students has shown that they can rise to any challenge that is presented to them. I can't wait to see what they can do once we are together in our classroom!

My Project

We are returning to in-person learning in our school! We are extremely excited to meet each other in person, continue to form a sense of community, and be able to interact in a live classroom! With this amazing new opportunity comes some challenges, we must remain six feet apart at all times and cannot move around the classroom. We would typically meet on our classroom rug to share ideas or students would come up to the whiteboard and share their work. The addition of individual whiteboards and Expo markers will allow my students to write down their ideas and share them with our class in a fun and engaging way!

Each student will need an individual set of supplies that can be stored for them in our classroom.

Many of my students come from lower-income homes and do not have school supplies available to them. By providing each student with a zipper pouch of their own supplies you will be providing them with the security of knowing that they are prepared for each day of school!
