Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students love to learn math! To be more accurate, students love to learn math when they have the tools and resources that would make learning easier and engaging. Students will thrive when the lessons are more hands-on.
My students have an interest in arts and projects.
This week, they completed their poster boards. I was filled with joy when students were sharing their projects and showing confidence and pride with their work.
My Project
Students will be using materials and resources that are targeted in their areas of growth. Teachers Pay Teachers has fun projects and resources that can be used for in person or online. They have visually appealing anchor charts that help students refresh concepts they have learned. With these resources, students will be able to engage with content in creative and engaging ways.

This is something I value and wish to continue developing with my students. I got to see their excitement when they brought in poster boards that showed off their graphing with linear equation skills. Their work is displayed around the classroom for everyone to see what they have accomplished.
