My Students

The students at my school are amazing. I know you probably hear or read this a lot, but seriously, my students are phenomenal. They attend a K-12 public school in the middle of New York City and are always ready to learn!

Our students are creative, innovative, and full of life, but this is only part of what makes them so phenomenal.

They are eager to learn not only their subjects in school, but they also want to know more about the world around them.

My Project

As an English teacher there is nothing I love more than being able to connect students with what might be their next favorite. Last year, when we were fully in person teaching we had an amazing library in the back of our classroom. So many genres, series' and authors to choose from.

So many teenagers forget how much they loved reading and getting lost in the pagers, it is my hope that I can reignite that love.

While we might not be back fully in person I can do my best to get books to students. With these new titles I will have an even greater variety to choose from when hopefully matching them with the PERFECT book. We also need a new cover for our Mac as the last didn't quite survive 2020...
