My Project

All students deserve the opportunity to develop a love of learning and reading. In order to do so, students must find books that interest them and that they can read. My school has a wonderful, diverse population of students including many who speak a first language other than English. Over the years, I have added Spanish and Arabic titles to our library. Now, it is time to add Chinese titles to the library for my students.

Books written in Chinese will help make the library an inclusive place for all students.

Included in this project are picture books and novels written in Chinese to provide students of all reading levels with the opportunity to check out books in their first language. Your donation will help current and future students feel seen and welcomed in the library.
