Help me give my students double-sided magnetic letter tiles, write & wipe lapboard erasers and other hands-on resources for math and science engagement and collaborative group work.
Students are best engaged when learning is hands-on and fun for them. These products are all hands-on and engaging for students to learn and have fun with. These items will help in so many ways in our classroom. The math resources will help the students be able to manipulate the numbers and have a multi-sensory experience. They will use the whiteboards daily to show their work.
With the materials I am asking for, students will strengthen their fine motor skills, take part in kinesthetic learning, and engage multiple areas of their brains.
With this funding from DonorsChoose, students will have the opportunity to have more engaging and interactive math and science centers. My first-grade students would benefit from the consistent movement and stimulus that comes from working with their hands. They would also be able to showcase their work on large Post-its. I will use the sticky easel pads to write our math warm ups and math word problems. They are posted around the class for student reference. Thank you for considering my project.
