Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how much you loved being read to? Well, my students love to listen to stories. These books will provide my students will the ability to listen to more stories and expand their vocabulary at the same time.

My students come from low economic status homes.

More than 98% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. We are a Title I school and my students come to school wanting affection, acceptance, and kindness. They deserve to be educated in the best and most effective way possible.

My Project

I am requesting books for my students to use during center time. By receiving these materials, my students will be able to expand their vocabulary, learn how to incorporate technology in their learning, and listen to a number of different authors and their stories all at the same time.It is essential that kids have a broad vocabulary to build a foundation on. Without that foundation, they will struggle through the stages of reading. My goal is to provide different resources that will help my students become successful readers.

Your donations will make a difference in the lives of 66 kindergartners.

They will cherish the gift of reading you will provide them by helping fund this project. Reading is an essential aspect in a child's education!
