Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since the pandemic, I've seen an increase in academic and behavior needs in my class. Not only has the learning gap has widened, but students are struggling to maintain focus and stamina throughout the day. I've asked for a variety of materials for my classroom. It is my hope that these materials will aid in strengthening my students' academic learning. For example, the math manipulatives will help students with understanding math skills and concepts. Math workplaces will be organized in storage containers for quick and easy access. Other materials such as wiggle cushions and bouncy bands help aid with focus and attention during a lesson. All other materials like the chart stand and anchor chart paper will be used to provide my students with learning references in all content areas.
