My Project

Help us cultivate a colorful and engaging speech room!

While providing speech therapy for children with language and cognitive delays, various materials are used to aid students in reaching their goals.

Visual supports such as charts are used in sessions to provide a visual representation of what the child is learning. While the speech room has a black and white printer, a color printer would allow for charts and supports that are more vibrant and engaging for students who have difficulty attending to tasks for extended periods of time.

Materials such as play dough and markers provide opportunities to make sessions more fun and engaging, especially for our students who fall within the early childhood grades of Pre-K - 2nd grade.
