Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I School with 100% free lunch for all. My students are creative, respectful and have an enormous love for learning. My students are investigative learners who enjoy also engaging in deep discussion with their peers. They love hands-on and engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things in order to grow. Our school services many students that are in temporary housing. They are great and such an inspiration to all!

Many students in my classroom complete work by using multiple modalities.

Students in my classroom have difficulty completing assignments due to the lack of resources that are available in the room. My students are eager to come to school everyday and learn despite everything they have to deal with. I believe with the right resources and materials my students will be able to soar to new heights!

My Project

This group table will be used in many ways in our classroom. First, the students will be able to gather around the table for small group instruction. During this time they will work on skills they are struggling with. Some might include main idea, summarizing etc. The students will also be able to sit at the table to complete project and group work together.

The table will be a way to bring my students together and to bring their learning to new heights.

I believe this table will be a great asset to our classroom and will have many purposes. The best way to learn is to keep practicing and this table will be a way for my students to come together and practice different skills!
