My Project

As a Pre-K teacher who works in a very diverse school, I continue to learn so much about different cultures through my students and their families. I know more can be done to expose children to culture as well as create a safe space where we can talk about our similarities and differences.

I am requesting multicultural materials for my Pre-K classroom to expose children to & to give them experiences that let them know "all are welcomed" in my class.

I am hoping that the materials listed below such the multicultural Families and doll house, will give my students a sense of belonging and acceptance. There will be other ways I am going to incorporate the materials to my daily lessons; however, the materials will allow children to lead conversations during an unstructured part of our day.
