My Project

Helping my students make projects for all the Holidays, gives my students a sense of pride. Being from a Title I school, many don't have the resources at home to do this. I always strive to make the classroom the best place for my students to have every opportunity I can give them, and I am always looking for materials to enhance and engage my students in learning about different traditions and cultures.

My students work very hard and deserve the best.

With this new All About Today Pocket Chart, my students can be ready to calendar important holidays and events like the Lunar New Year. We talked about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. When we return in January, I would like us to talk about Lunar New Year and count down until the day of rituals and customs. We have students from different ethnicities so I think it is very important for us to recognize each other's customs and traditions. Please help us get a calendar pocket chart to mark all the special dates coming up, including Lunar New Year.
