My Students

My students started their journey four years ago as string ensemble musicians. In order to allow students to practice at home, we need new violin bows for students to take home and use during their practice as well as cello cases to transport their instruments home to practice!

Many of my students come from struggling backgrounds and music allows them to express themselves creatively as individuals and as a team.

In music class, my students explore singing, playing instruments, and all kinds of music in the world around them. As the music program expands, I would love for all of my students to continue having the necessary materials they need to learn and make music!

My Project

With new upright basses as part of our Orchestra this year, the basses need stands to be placed on when not in use in order to keep the instruments safe! Bass-specific rosin is needed for our bass players who will be using the rosin on brand new bass bows.

New music stands are needed in order to add to the ones we already have as our music ensembles are bigger than ever this year!

The stands will allow students to keep their music up as they rehearse together. Over 100 students are playing strings instruments and need these materials to play in music class!
