This year I have 27 fabulous fourth-grade students in person again. Our classroom is diverse. My students come from various backgrounds and learn in a variety of ways. Learning during a pandemic can be crazy but we are crazy about learning!
I am always looking for new ways to engage students and incorporate hands-on learning, problem-solving, and collaboration in the classroom.

My Project
My students would love to dive deeper into understanding syllable division rules, vowel patterns, and the jobs of magic e. This would greatly help them with decoding multi-syllabic words and would boost their reading levels significantly.
With All About Reading, I can provide research-based multisensory instruction with ease.
All About Reading is a proven, mastery-based program that covers phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension ensuring no gaps in learning. I've requested the workbooks for levels 2 and 3 because they contain activities for skills that students most need to work on. (I already have the decodable readers and the teacher's manuals that go with this program.) I've requested letter tiles, magnets, and a magnetic whiteboard so that we can practice making and decoding words together in small reading groups and during word work lessons.
The All About Reading program will help bring my students to the next level and will help them develop a true love of reading.
