My Students

The students of my middle school music department enjoy playing instruments on a daily basis. It gives them a way to not only escape from the harsh realities some of them face but provides them with a safe environment to express themselves musically.

The students of the music department are energetic, dedicated, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

They strive to put on the best performances all year round with the model of the band: desire, drive, destiny!

My Project

We have not replenished our brass mouthpieces for over 4 years and the students have been very cautious with the old ones they currently use. These mouthpieces are off-brand name, but decent copies that we have.

Good quality mouthpieces will provide that extra encouragement for brass players to develop their chops and grow as musicians.

Knowing that the students will be able to obtain quality mouthpieces puts my mind a little more at ease because I will be able to provide them with the tools necessary to help them grow as brass players in my advanced band/jazz band program.
