Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a passionate Deaf education teacher, I adore my 4th-grade students for their curiosity and resilience. They inspire me to create engaging lessons that resonate with their interests.

Each requested resource enhances their learning when paired with the general curriculum and creates an engagement piece that's sure to hold their attention.

Airplane Books: These vibrant stories spark discussion and build vocabulary, allowing students to visualize the wonders of flight.

Decorations: Transforming our classroom into an aviation-themed space fosters excitement and creates visual cues, helping students connect their learning to the world of aviation.

Incentives: Aviation-themed rewards, like stickers and small airplane models, motivate students and reinforce positive behavior, making learning joyful.

Airplane Building Lego Kit: This hands-on resource promotes collaboration and critical thinking, allowing students to express their understanding through teamwork and creativity.

Together, these resources will help my students grasp aviation concepts while fostering a sense of community and empowerment. I love watching their imaginations take flight!
