Help me give my students a Yamaha clavinova piano keyboard and piano books for use in our General Music and Chorus classes

My Project

A few years ago, my students and I worked to get a piano lab for our music classroom. Our piano lab has been an important part of their musical experience. Because they love hands-on learning, and they have experienced the joy of playing piano, they would like to take their piano playing experience to the next level. We are looking to get a new classroom piano that will be used for both Chorus classes and General Music Classes. Our current classroom piano is in dire need of repair! In addition, we would like to have more piano books from which to play!

Evidence suggests that learning an instrument can improve your brain power, and many studies have implied that music appreciation can actually improve brain function and intelligence.

At our school, students have the opportunity to be in chorus, band, and strings. The challenge for beginning music students is learning to read music. Our piano lab helps all students learn to read music in a safe and secure way!
