My Project

Our resource room serves a diverse group of K-6 students with a wide range of learning needs. These students are hard working, creative, and responsible, but require specialized instruction and support to meet their educational goals. We would love to get some new books and classroom resources to better align their learning in the resource room with the skills they are working on in their general education classrooms. The new Wit and Wisdom curriculum for our school will be implemented this year.

This project includes picture books which align to the topics that will be covered in upper grades, but are more accessible for struggling readers, classroom supplies, learning games, sensory tools, and prizes to increase engagement and motivation.

By acquiring these resources, we can better support our students' academic, behavioral, and sensory needs, ensuring they have the tools and motivation to succeed.
