My Students

I teach at a Title One school, where there is a STEAM academy, and my students are deserving of the best! They have great potential and are capable of the best. Due to the Covid-19 Crisis, the learning environment has changed to include dual modality (teaching virtually and physically). To manage the noise level in the class, my students would benefit from individual headsets. The class would also benefit from the extended lessons provided from a document camera!

My Project

My project with provide an excellent review session for the end of course exam. I teach virtually and physically at the same time and the class can become noisy, but I enjoy the student interactions! To maintain the noise levels and help my students focus, these headsets would allow us to work on different project simultaneously. This would also enhance the effectiveness of small group interventions with both online and physical students. The document camera would enhance teaching with the students who are online with the live demonstration of math problems.
