This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our district is no longer supplying us with graphing calculators so I am working on slowly building a set for students to use in class. Some of my students will be able to buy their own graphing calculators but many will not.

Think about how useful these calculators were when you were learning Algebra!

These kids will be incredibly grateful to have this resource in their hands. Trying to calculate on a computer is time-consuming and frustrating sometimes, so my students who are easily stressed will get so much relief from having a handheld calculator to use. Having these calculators will help my students be more motivated to learn.
