My Students

Our school strives to find the leader in all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects of life.

The work we do in our 6th grade classrooms help scholars build relationships, follow directions, and access general education content in various ways.

We try to get our scholars outside of the classroom as often as possible to experience things that they otherwise would not have the opportunity to.

My Project

Our scholars strive to keep up with the latest in education and technology. Using Voice technology is a natural way for scholars to interact with their education. With Amazon Alexa, scholars will get more from their educational experience by simplifying how they get information and stay organized.

With this technology I can personalize small groups by building on a certain skill, giving scholars daily flash briefings and helping them quickly find needed information for assignments and projects.

Alexa will simplify some of the ways scholars gather information and inherently leaving them with more time for more pressing matters.

For example, building vocabulary is an integral part of education, and Alexa can help scholars learn a new term every day with the Word of the Day skill. It integrates with the Flash Briefing to provide you a new word every day, including the definition and how to use the word in a sentence, with more than a little humor thrown into the mix.
