My Project

My Kindergarten-5th grade students come into my newly created STEM/STEAM Lab with excitement and creative brains ready to dive into any challenge I put in front of them. Around 800 students visit me weekly to collaborate on the challenges I give them. I am limited on what I am able to challenge my students with because this is a program that I am building from scratch.

Kids need to collaborate and to design to learn how to think outside of the box and be able to successfully take on the real world.

The KEVA planks, building materials, and the coding materials will take students to another level. In small groups, students will learn collaboration skills and how to utilize items in my project to problem solve through PBL (project based learning) and the engineering and design process based on relevant life scenarios.
