My Students

My students come from various socioeconomic, race, religious, and cultural backgrounds. They are bright-eyed and excited about learning. My students love learning and engaging in meaningful activities.

Every student deserves to be happy, healthy, and safe at school.

With the recent events of COVID-19, the way schools function have changed from anything we have ever known.

Our classroom fosters a love for learning through different experiences. Many students do not have the background knowledge that you would expect a child their age to have. I try to provide students with experiences that will impact their lives not only while they are in my classroom but that they can take with them throughout their lives.

My Project

We are returning to school face to face for the 2020-2021 school year!

Nervous, anxious, excited are all words to describe returning to the classroom.

I would like to have a portable air filtration system in our 3rd grade classroom. I want to do everything I can to keep my learners safe and cut down on germs anyway that I can. I think this will be an added benefit to the health and wellness procedures we will have in place. I want to create the cleanest classroom environment possible so that my learners and parents feel at ease. This will not only help during Covid-19 but it will help during cold and flu season. Also, students with asthma will greatly benefit from this.
