My Students

Our school believes that all students are capable of reaching their full potential by providing a safe environment, differentiating instruction, holding our students accountable, and empowering our students in the classroom and beyond.

My classroom consists of two different cohorts of students, who will be working in person and remotely throughout the week.

Second grade begins a new chapter in the life of students. They are becoming more independent individuals who are quickly learning new skills. My students have funny, entertaining personalities, and they never cease to amaze me daily.

My Project

This air purifier will put my students' and parents' minds at ease. In this unpredictable time parents and students are nervous about returning to the classroom. Some students and parents may have suffered trauma over the past few months, and I believe an air purifier in the classroom will provide them with some sense of security.

This sense of security will allow students to feel comfortable back in the classroom, after SIX months of being away.

In turn they will be able to focus on all of their work they will need to complete in the classroom. This will allow them to continue to grow and flourish in this new classroom setting.

The book baggies will provide my two groups a place to store their materials and manipulatives, since the two groups will be sharing desks on their alternating days. These baggies will allow their items to be secured and guarantee that they are only using their own supplies.
