Help Mrs. Bisher Nea

We would love some help! I teach a multi-grade, multi-need special education classroom comprised of third through fifth grade students. My children have been identified as needing a smaller, more structured environment, and thus receive all of their daily instruction from me.

This year I would love to introduce them to the world of photography. Due to their varied disabilities, my students face many academic struggles in their school careers. Photography is an art form that may allow them to express themselves in a completely new way. I believe it will open up their eyes to not only the world around them, but possibly to hidden talents within. It will also enable me to provide visual support to their academic curriculum which would be extremely helpful.

In order to launch this program, we need a digital camera, a photo printer, and a starter supply of photo grade paper.

Investing in this project will enable my students to explore a completely new way of viewing the world they live in. It will inspire them to be creative and to safely try new things; two hurdles they often struggle with in their daily lives.
