My Students

My classroom is a French immersion classroom, where students receive all of their instruction in French. Our school is dedicated to providing a literacy and content-rich curriculum in both languages.

The students in my class are bilingual and French language learners.

Some students are being exposed to French for the first time while some are improving their oral language and literacy skills in their native language. All students learn to read and write together, with differentiated instruction and activities based on their level of language acquisition.

My Project

K-22 and K-021 are busy learning to read, write and speak in French!

Although we have the literacy materials that we need, our French classroom is currently not equipped with sufficient storage furniture needed by our students.

This is due to the fact that in the past, the classroom was not used as an early childhood classroom. The lockers you would be so gracious to help provide, will allow all students to have a place to put their coats, backpacks and lunches. A media cart will ensure that all technology that is used throughout the day, is easily accessible and stored in one place.
