My Students

A common issue that my students will face in their school performance is not completing homework. Twenty (20) percent of their class grade is based off of homework. Organization is greatly needed to provide structure to my students and the planner would be the perfect tool to allow this to happen.

Our school is located in Queens, one of the most ethnically diverse populations in New York.

My students with special needs come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, often living in a single parent household. Being limited on resources makes my students feel deprived and hindered in the classroom. My students come with diverse talents and abilities but are not given the resources that encourage them to further pursue their talents to perform better in school.

My Project

45 of my students each need a planner to teach them the value of structure and organization. Planners would allow a space dedicated solely to write down the homework assignments each day for every subject and reminders for important deadlines. The planner will serve a significant purpose for the remainder of the school year.

Your donations would go towards my students need for resources to perform better in the classroom.

It will teach them the value of organization, structure, and responsibility; skills that they would carry on throughout their lives.
