My Project

My students love hands-on learning experiences. Our campus will soon have a revitalized outdoor education space. A Nearpod Platinum subscription will help our students to gather background knowledge about agriculture and artificial intelligence with the added bonus of the ability for each student to sync their notes to One Drive, Google Drive, and/or email. This ability will help our students to maintain their digital learning journals.

I want to show my students the beautiful intersection of AG (agriculture) and AI (artificial intelligence) using the materials in this project.

The microbit accessories will allow my students to build an artificially intelligent "smart" plant watering system. The smart home kit contains multiple sensors (motion, rain, temperature, and more) that students can use to develop a myriad of solutions to challenges in energy, food insecurity, agriculture, and more!
