This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Afterschool STEM activities will motivate more students to attend afterschool tutoring daily! This school year is the year the focus will be to remediate all the skills lost and or not focused on in the past two school years due to the pandemic along with creating a space for students to critically think through STEM activities. The component of STEM activities being added to afterschool programming will encourage and challenge students natural sense of curiosity. Students will be further exposure to science, technology, engineering, art, and math while developing a strong foundation for future learning through continuous exploring of STEM skills and concepts through building and discussion.
