My Project

We have a Girl's Mentoring program at our school and host many events throughout the school year. We are currently in the process of planning a few events, with the first meeting of the school year beginning soon. One of the ideas that we are playing with is having students make personalized items. With the Cricut Heat Press, we can begin this process by creating t-shirts, fanny packs, tote bags, and more. We have the vinyl and the tools, and now we need the machine!

I am trying a different approach to math with my small groups, and that's where the Boogie Boards come in.

We will reduce paper usage and focus solely on what we have drawn out from the word problem, and I believe that this will help my students with their application problems in math. They will also be able to use the Boogie Boards for solving mathematical equations and perhaps as a reference when provided with worksheets. The Boogie Boards could also be used for reading. However, with this being an idea, we are only requesting three at this time!
