My Project

My class eats lunch pretty early in the day causing them to be very hungry in the afternoon.

Kids have a hard time focusing when they are distracted by their hunger, so we allow a snack time to get them re-energized and ready to learn.

Many of my students are part of the free and reduced lunch program so snacks are low on their parents' priority list as they live paycheck to paycheck. I am often the only way many of these kids will have a snack for the day. These snacks will allow my students to get a bit of an energy boost and give parents a peace of mind that they will be taken care of at school regardless of their money struggles.
