My Students

My scholars are 65 fourth graders. They are simply awesome and super excited about being in the classroom this year. We are working hard to get back on a regular “in the building” schedule. My scholars are my heart, and I love having them this year.

My Project

The snacks that I am seeking for my students will allow them to leave school and eat a quick snack immediately after getting home. Many of my students are required to wait for the adult in the home to return from work and then prepare a family meal. This wait, for a child, can seem to last forever.

These quick snacks will simply "hold them over" until dinner has been prepared.

This also stresses to my students that it is fine to eat a SMALL snack if you are waiting for a meal to be prepared.
