This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
When Baton Rouge suffered the great flood at the beginning of 2016 school year, our school went back to zero. We have to start all over again. We lost all books and reading materials that are essential to our students learning. Teachers lost their instructional materials that are necessities in teaching. These is rough....these is difficult...these is frustrating...BUT educator likes me NEVER GAVE UP!
Our students need a fair chance for learning after losing everything.
We need to provide these boys and girls the necessities in learning. We need to provide them an atmosphere that will inspire and spark their potentials!
My Project
Our school was 4.5 deep underwater. All our materials were gone. We are starting all over again to provide our students some materials necessary for them to learn. These materials are just starting point to make us back to normal life. It is challenging, but we believe we will get through it.
Providing our students these materials will be a great help to make their learning process easier.
These will help them tremendously in the classroom activities as well as outdoor. They can have various activities to be engaged with as they are learning.
Our students will make their outdoor activities meaningful and productive.
