My Project

We have had an after-school Crochet and Knitting Club for the past two years. The club is open to third through eighth graders, and we have had approximately 15 enthusiastic participants. The students have made headbands, scarfs, bookmarks and decorations.

In the 2023-24 school year, we hope to expand the club activities to include more advanced projects such as hats and tapestries.

These loom and yarn supplies will give the club participants the opportunity to show their creativity! We also plan to participate in the "random acts of kindness" yarn movement by making projects to leave as anonymous surprises for school community members to find.
