Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will greatly benefit the students who attend my after school Game Club every week. 90% of my students are from low-income neighborhoods and qualify for free school lunch. Many have never had access to or played the games that I am hoping to buy. I have also noticed that many of the students I have taught after the COVID pandemic have had social-emotional difficulties reconnecting with their peers. More of my students are withdrawn or quiet during class, rarely talking to or building bonds with their peers.

I believe that these games would not only make our game club so much better, but they would also help my students build bonds with each other and open up more, socially.

Please help me make this dream come true for my amazing students!
