Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are creating an after school workout gym to make sure our sports players stay in shape and ready to play. This gym will help our students to strengthen their muscles and improve their bodies to play competitively in our volleyball, basketball, baseball, and football teams.

The gym will help students to decompress from the stress of the day and improve their emotional state.

Studies show that students who engage in sports have a higher chance of staying out of trouble. Weight lifting, exercise bike, and boxing bag will help students to stay physically active and in shape. The boxing bag will help students to stay fit and cope with stress.

My students will benefit by having something to do after school and stay out of the streets. Additionally, being active will improve their physical health and keep them physically and mentally fit.
