This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students stay after school in order to have a quiet and fun place to learn, get work done and to have fun! They need classroom supplies and snacks as many of them don’t eat at school or in the morning before leaving home.

Students are learning to edit their writing and their peers’ papers.

They are learning ways to improve their writing in hopes of future publication. Students learn to score their peers’ papers and give them feedback that improves their writing .

I love my students enthusiasm and their love of learning . They are pros at scoring student work and offer each other feedback that shows growth .
