My Project

My students in grades 4 through 6 engage in learning music through modern band. My goals for this project focus on providing new instruments (Ukueles, Acoustic Guitars, Digital Keyboard) and equipment (guitar straps)so more students will have access to creating and performing in an authentic, hands-on manner. Within our current limited resources, my students have already shown an excitement and desire to take risks, step out of their comfort zones, and grow as musicians and young people through their experiences. This project will allow more students to express themselves through MUSIC and grow together as humans.
