Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The project will support my crew students by sustaining their nutritional needs throughout the day. My crew does not have an assigned lunch period until after 1pm each day. They often arrive to school before 8:20am and did not have the opportunity to eat breakfast. These snacks will make it easier for them to remain focused for all of their classes.

We meet for advisory each day and it is a perfect time for us to eat snacks, share our thoughts for the day, and things that we need for support.

This will make the advisory seem more like a family meeting as opposed to a strict class setting.
