My Students

This will be my first year on this particular campus. I will be bringing a Pre-K program to this campus. With reviewing the profiles of my students, I have learned that they come from very diverse backgrounds, and we have some students who have never been in a school setting and some that are coming from a private school.

My Project

By using the Giant Number Sense Stamp set will allow me to model the different charts with my students and then allow them to complete the same activity in their journals. Having this stamp will save time as well, because the students nor myself will have to take classroom time to draw the chart in each student’s journal.

The Counting Set Cones and Squeeze, Scoop and Count Ice Cream Shop will allow my students to have hands on experience with one-to-one counting and it makes that real world connection with ice cream.

The name plates and border allow me to create a print rich and positive learning space for the students. When the students arrive on the first day, I want them to want to come in and see what new things they can learn.
