My Project

My students have grown so much over the past months and are very respondent to hands-on learning (kinesthetic) items. Tapping, moving, matching items, touching along with feeling textures they have been exposed to.

We experienced colors and sensory with touch and now, to experience the colors with reading, puzzle pieces, sand and models cutouts, books that are safe to display without paper being eaten, gives the students more of an opportunity to experience safe products.

I was excited to see the progress of the students and their response to the items we have used for them to touch and share in their learning. For a first-time teacher, I continue to be excited for their progress.

My students have definitely shown that their responses are sensory based, and with the items requested, they can handle without supervision and enjoy. I will be able to read to them and let them use the books by themselves, which will help their independence. When they use puzzles, they will be able to move and use their memory to complete, as well as fulfill the goal of interaction with whatever they are learning.

My goal is to show improvement in their independence to move by direction instead of assisting with each thing that they do. I want to help them reach their individual goals.

I have first, third, fourth, and fifth grade students, so a variety of learning techniques are used to help them to come together as one, as well displaying individualism in their learning.

These donor items are so nice to have, to help regulate their needs for learning and snacking. Thank you for your thoughtfulness to help.
