Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our third graders are a marvelous group of eager readers! They have personalized reading goals that are set to their reading ability.

This Valentine's Day, our team would like to give each student the opportunity to "adopt a pet".

With their certificate of adoption will come the responsibility of nurturing their pet through reading 20 minutes a night. Each student will have the choice of adopting one pet in class. Each pet will come with a home (white box) and certification of adoption. The items, ribbon, hole punches, and boxes, will all be used in preparation for each pet to be taken home, loved, and read to. Thank you for your generous support and for helping our team provide reading pets for our students.
