Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are curious and excited about learning. They display enthusiasm when learning new topics. Students work individually, in small groups, and as a whole to solve problems and create projects that show their learning.

My goal is to make learning fun and incorporate real world connections to help the students understand the various skills within the curriculum.

I believe that if students are having fun, then they have a better change of learning.

I teach in a Title One school, so my students don't always have access to various supplies and technology. I would love to be able to provide extra tools to push their learning to higher levels!

My Project

Working in a Title One school can be challenging at times due to lack of supplies and technology. I would like to provide more opportunities​ for my students to explore, learn, research, create, and discover as much as they can! With these iPads, my students will be able to read more, research about our Social Studies and Science topics, play educational math games, work on writing, plus so much more.

As their teacher, I am here to teach my students not only the curriculum but also about life!

There are so many amazing apps and websites that I look forward to them using throughout the school year.
