This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our school library serves students from many different backgrounds, both economically and ethnically. We have special education, dual language, regular education and gifted programs and are able to serve them all.
The library is used everyday by many of our students.
We are able to provide the basics for them but don't have the funds left over to give them the extras and replace those books that have been "loved" beyond repair. Donor's Choose can help me supply the extra books necessary to enrich their educational experience and provide a life-long love of reading.
My Project
These books will serve our entire school population. Many of these titles will replace books we already have and the rest will fill in missing copies of existing series. Some of our students are struggling readers. It is helpful to have on hand the next book in a series to provide them with. Many of our gifted students can read at a fast rate. We want to be able to serve them with high level reading materials to feed their reading needs. All of these titles will be used to serve our various reading levels and enrich our students. They will be so excited to see new titles on our shelves!
