My Students

My students come in every day eager to learn. Early on, we set high standards and my students work diligently to meet them. We strive to find new ways to make these high expectations fun and help each other along our journey.

My students enter from many different home situations to work together as a family in our classroom.

As a Title I school, many of my students are lacking some of the things needed to fulfill their basic needs. School is a place where they can come for safety, stability, and a sense that they can achieve anything.

My Project

We recently received some iPads for my students to use. They LOVE having this technology. Having different chargers around the room makes figuring out where to plug the iPads in chaotic. With the charging station and smaller cords, the students will be able to independently take care of their devices. This will help them build the skills they need to learn to take care of electronics and gain confidence in doing so.

The Osmo device is an amazing tool that makes concrete learning digital.

My students love the one we have and would love to add another to our classroom. They use it to work on letters, sounds, beginning sounds, building words, numbers, counting and more! It is one of our favorite technology tools.
