Adding Color to Our Classwork With a Color Printer

My students need to see visuals in color. I am asking for a Brother color printer and ink cartridges to print out classroom visuals and materials.

My Students

My school is a very diverse Title I school located in Newton, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. We have students from kindergarten through grade 5. We have a large population of English language learners coming from a variety of backgrounds. We are a full inclusion school where all students are part of a classroom community.

My 3rd grade students are kind, helpful, and always encouraging one another.

They love to learn new things and share new ideas with each other. My students read at a variety of levels and I am trying to add to my classroom library to reach all learners.

My Project

My students would benefit greatly from this requested Brother color printer and replacement cartridges. The students are hard workers and love to publish their writing pieces and graphics. They are always asking to print illustrations and their graphics in color. Unfortunately, there is only one color printer in our school in the office. It would also benefit my students if I could print color visuals related to what we are learning.

Imagine what a difference a visual would be if it was in color for students.

They could see the colors rather than the boring greyscale visual. It would get my students even more excited about writing if they knew they could print the cover page and illustrations in color. It would also allow me to print curriculum related games and activities in colors.
