Help me give my students a color printer. This will assist me with providing professional looking classwork, so they can concentrate better and have a high self esteem when working with their peers.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
The students in my class are unique! They have such a thirst for learning. They are of all ethnicities, religions, sexes, and financial statuses. In fact, most of the students in my class receive free or reduced-price lunch along with free breakfast each morning before the learning process begins.
Some of the children are classified as exceptional and they are academically one to two years lower than their grade level.
In order for them to be successful, many modifications are put into place.

Our classroom is an inclusive setting where classified, identified and general education students share the love of learning. We have many different groups who learn in various ways. A lot of the work given needs to be remade and modified. Clear direct instructions also need to be presented. This is an extremely time-consuming task for me as the special education in the room. After recreating assignments, I print them out and color code (by highlighting) information tailored to assist each student in working as independently as possible. Color on pages also assists with transitioning tasks, reading directions, assisting students with visual perceptual disabilities, and pointing out important information. Color also motivates children to get excited about the task ahead.I am also not able to save the information for future use. Every year the tedious task of using highlighters haunts me. Color coding by hand also tends to look messy and can make the assignments look very "busy." A jumbled, busy-looking assignment is not beneficial to a learning disabled student. I realized how beneficial clean, printed notes and assignments assist my students in following along and working independently during virtual learning.
