My Students

Do you remember what it was like to get a toy only to see that it required batteries? Well my students are experiencing some of that same disappointment. We have 4 iPod touches that my students are able to utilize. The only problem is that we can't use them to their full potential.

My students are from diverse backgrounds and our district is located in a high poverty area.

I teach very bright kids and work to help them achieve their full potential. In order to do that, we utilize a variety of different types of technology in the classroom. One of those types of technology is the iPod. Thanks to generous donors and donorschoose.org we are fortunate enough to have 4 iPod touches. The materials that this project would provide will help us keep the iPods in the best shape possible so that students will be able to use them for years to come.

My Project

The iPod touches are wonderful tools. I would really appreciate the opportunity to use them for many years. The protective sleeves and screen protectors that this project would provide would greatly increase the odds that they will remain in working order. My students are interested and engaging when working with the iPod. The chargers will mean that the wait time between students will also be reduced.

Not only will it help keep our tools in good working order, but it will also motivate us to use the iPods more effectively!
